On top of the base pay: experience €5.60 for each year in a hotel, family 10%, seasonal 10%, board and lodging, and from 1.6.2026 a temporary allowance of 2% of the base, until the occupational pension fund of the sector is set up (article 8).

A hotel with revenue of up to €55 a day for each room pays €40 less. The head chef gets at least 20% above Category A.

On top of the base pay: the family benefit, the allowance for special conditions and hazard, the allowance for a post of responsibility, and risk allowances such as flight pay.

The amounts are the base pay of a month: the base of the step times the factor of the rank, plus €40 from 1.4.2026. The state pays 12 salaries a year.

What the amounts show

The base gross pay of a month.

The base pay of the agreement is the minimum for the role. A company may pay more, never less.

The allowances of the agreement come on top of the base pay, such as experience and marriage. Each card lists them.

An agreement declared “binding on all” binds every employer of the sector. The others bind the members of the employer bodies that signed.

No full-time pay falls below the legal minimum wage, €920.

The uniformed services have a special pay scale set by law. There the base pay is the pay of the rank, not a minimum.

We show only agreements that print a scale. Each amount was read from the document filed with the Ministry of Labour, or from the Government Gazette of the law.
