How we calculate it
The tool searches for the gross by bisection, until its net is less than a cent away.
The net of each gross comes out as on a payslip: e-EFKA contributions of 13.37%, and tax on the 2026 scale divided by the salaries of the year.
We checked the rules on 19 October 2026. The result is an estimate. It does not replace your payroll or your accountant.

Frequently asked questions
How do you get the gross from the net?
The tool tries gross amounts until their net matches the amount you want to the cent. It runs the same calculation as the “Gross to net” tool.
Why does the gross rise faster than the net?
Because each new euro of gross pays contributions and tax at your highest rate. At €20,000 a year, the rate rises from 20% to 26%.
Do the bonuses count?
Yes. With 14 salaries, the bonuses and the holiday allowance go into the income of the year, and the tax is spread over 14 salaries.
