How we calculate it
Each band taxes only the part of your income that falls inside it. The tax of the scale is the sum.
From the tax we take off the Article 16 tax reduction, which shrinks above €12,000. It was the same in 2025.
When both children and age apply, the tool takes the lower rate in each band, as the ministry has answered.
We checked the rules on 19 October 2026. The result is an estimate. It does not replace your payroll or your accountant.
