Extra hours
At a glance
Extra hours are hours 41 to 45 of the week, in a 5-day week. They are paid at your hourly rate plus 20%. Above 45 hours, overtime starts, at 40%.
Additional hours do not count towards the limit of 150 hours of overtime a year. Overtime without approval carries a premium of 120%.
Since 2025, the premium carries no contributions if you work full time. Only the plain hourly pay carries contributions.
