When do I pay the 2027 road tax?
From 1 November to 31 December 2026. The payment notice is on myCAR, the service of AADE, the tax authority.
How much is the fine if I pay late?
In January it is 25% of the road tax, and in February 50%. From March it is equal to the road tax. It is never under €30.
How do I add the date to my calendar?
Press “Add to calendar”. An .ics file downloads, and it opens in the calendar of your phone or computer. It reminds you of the date from the morning of the day before.
