e-EFKA contributions
At a glance
EFKA contributions are what you and your employer pay to e-EFKA, the social security fund, for pension, health and unemployment cover. In 2026 an employee pays 13.37% of gross pay and the employer 21.79%.

The ceiling
Contributions apply up to a maximum gross amount a month, €7,761.94 in 2026. Above that, your pay carries no further contributions.
What they buy
